up and take notice of the Youth. Widely regarded
as one of the best independent releases ever
Daydream Nation manages to capture and hold on to
the listeners interest from Teen Age Riot all the
way to the Trilogy. Just like Bad Moon Rising this
album has a wonderful coherency in which one song
flows into the next. For this reason I find it
difficult to lift out a single song except perhaps
for the first track Teenage Riot with which so
many Youth fans seem to identify. A definate
center-piece of any Sonic Youth collection.
